POSITION: CUSTODIAN/MESSENGER
DEPARTMENT: Public Works #170
SALARY RANGE: $19,024 - $27,972

Job Summary: Under general supervision, performs messenger service and custodial work, which may include minor plumbing, repairs on building and equipment, grounds maintenance, deliveries and other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: Combination of education and experience sufficient to understand an carry out oral and written directions and to write simple notations. Must be able to read and follow instructions on cleaning supplies, etc. Valid driver's license required. Good physical agility and ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 75 lbs.). Possess ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb, maintain balance and have good use of hands. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Possess ability to operate and control cleaning equipment.
