POSITION: ENTOMOLOGY TECHNICIAN
DEPARTMENT: Mosquito Control **Revised Copy **
SALARY RANGE: $25,486 - $37,466

Job Summary: Under direction of the Biologist/Entomologist Crew Leader, identifies, treats and documents mosquito breeding sites in Chatham County. Maintains records, prepares input for reports and evaluates treatment efforts. Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Some mosquito control experience or related work experience required. Ability to lift and carry approx. 30 lbs., walk long distances over rough terrain and climb fences. Must possess basic computer skills and be able to interact with the public. Must be able to read and use maps. Must be able to obtain GA Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator's License in Public Health Pest Control within 6 months. Must be willing to fly in county owned aircraft. Possession of a valid Georgia Driver's License. MVR Performed. **APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT COPY OF DRIVER'S LICENSE. |
