Chatham County residents and businesses who live in the following areas are served by either or both Chatham County water & sewer systems:
- Glen of Robin Hood Water & Sewer System
- Runaway Point Water & Sewer System
- West Chatham (Hunter's Ridge) Water & Sewer System
- Savannah Ports Authority Industrial Water & Sewer System
- Little Neck Plantation Water System
- Montgomery Water System
- Modena Island Water System

Water meters are read and customers are billed every two months. Payment is due in 21 days. The "Due By" date is shown on the bill. If payment is not received on time, a Delinquent Bill will be sent out on or about the 25th of the month. If payment in full is not received in 5 days, the delinquent account will be shut-off. Shut-offs happen on Tuesday & Wednesday of the first full week of the month following the date the bill was due. A $50 re-connection fee will be added to the account. If payment is still not received by Monday of the 4th full week of the month, delinquent accounts will have their water meters locked or removed until full payment is received, and another $50 re-connection fee will be added to the account. No additional notice will be sent at this time. Meter-tampering will result in a $200 fine.
Please note that returned checks (NSF Funds) are redeemable only by Cashier Check. Money Order or Cash. Pursuant to Georgia Law 10-9-20, a Service Charge of $30.00 0r 5% of the face amount of the check, whichever is greater, will be added to the amount due.
Payments can be sent by mail, made by phone, or in person (Cashier window, 1st Floor). Payments by check or money order may also be left in the Payment Drop Box located at 1117 Eisenhower Drive. Drop Box receipts are collected and processed daily.

Statewide Water Restrictions
The following outdoor watering schedule now applies for Unincorporated Chatham County:

Odd-numbered addresses may use outdoor water only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays;

Even-numbered and unnumbered addresses may use outdoor water only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays;

The use of outdoor water is not permissible between the hours of 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM; and
-
No watering is allowed on Fridays.
The Board of Natural Resources adopted Rules for Outdoor Water Use, Chapter 391-3-30 in May 2004. Under the rules, Georgians are required to follow schedules for outdoor water use during both non-drought periods and during periods of declared drought. The rules are consistent with Section 4 (Drought Responses) of the Georgia Drought Management Plan, which the Board adopted in 2003. The rules apply to any entity, and its customers, permitted by EPD for water withdrawal or for the operation of a public drinking water supply system.
